Elementor Pro V3.5 Review: Here Comes the Woo

The Elementor Pro 3.5 update is now available. The goal of this version is to improve Elementor's eCommerce features, with a concentration on the WooCommerce Builder. That said, we'll give you the skinny on these new features in this review to give you a fast overview of everything Elementor 3.5 has to offer.

Let's get started without further ado!

WooCommerce Builder

Elementor now has direct access to your WooCommerce pages. Version 3.5 adds in-site customization to your 'Checkout,' 'Cart,' and 'My Account' pages to help you speed up the web design process and provide a uniform look across your whole business.

Furthermore, Elementor's WooCommerce builder allows you to configure your pages with a single click. This means you'll be able to use the WooCommerce page builder widgets in Elementor's editor. With a single click, you can rapidly edit and update different parts, designs, and features on each page. Creating basic WooCommerce pages is also a breeze.

The new capabilities in Elementor's WooCommerce Checkout widget seek to eliminate the requirement for a third-party plugin to maintain a consistent appearance. It succeeds to some extent, since you can now modify the checkout page's layout to a single or two-column layout, change the typeface, and change the colors. You also have some control over how the fields are styled. On your checkout page, in particular, their border and wording (should you desire to rename your fields).

Similarly, you may use the new WooCommerce widgets to design your 'Cart' and 'My Account' pages. For example, to improve the consumer experience, you may delete and add buttons addressing totals, coupons, and cart updates to your 'Cart' page design.

Similarly, you may now change the look of your 'My Account' page so that the tabs and sections match the appearance of your other web sites. You may also compare and contrast all of your account tabs (such as client orders, addresses, and downloads) and their related information (such as the actual orders or addresses) to check that your designs are same.

Despite all of the additional features, though, the customizing possibilities are still restricted. Because with all of the aforementioned widgets, you're given a standard template with an out-of-date design that you can't edit beyond the skeleton. Furthermore, you must go through the time-consuming process of personalizing each page before keeping it as default.

Not to add, the widgets are best used with the Hello theme; nevertheless, other themes may cause layout and aesthetic difficulties.

Track Your Progress

The Tracker widget is another new feature introduced by Elementor 3.5.

This widget may be used to give a 'progress tracker' within your blog entries, for example. As users begin to read your content, the reading time will be shown at the top of the page. The reader may see how much of the article is left to read. This contributes to a more engaging user experience that encourages people to read the entire content.

Best of all, you may customize the color, placement, border, width, and form of the tracker to match your brand.

Snap to scroll

When scrolling finishes, this new feature causes the viewport to stop at a defined place. When you scroll down a page, it usually stays set at the previous portion you reached. When the user stops scrolling, the page instantly snaps to the pre-specified page element with scroll snap. A CTA, for example, at the bottom of your page.

Users, on the other hand, do not have total control over their website navigation because of Scroll Snap. As you can expect, this may be a major turn-off for some people. Consider the case where a user is currently reading a piece of the page and the snap switches to another area. In such situation, it may be – to put it mildly — inconvenient!

Improving global widgets and enforcing security

Finally, Elementor has taken some proactive adjustments in response to previous security concerns. One of the most important is stopping visitors who haven't signed in from adding malicious code into the form field, which might cause your site to crash.

Several issues have also been fixed by making changes to the underlying framework of global widgets. Both of these upgrades should be seamless, and as a result, your present websites should not be affected.

Are You Prepared for Elementor Pro 3.5's Release?

The biggest benefit of Elementor Pro 3.5 is that you can now create a more consistent brand throughout your whole WooCommerce store. Furthermore, the progress tracker and scroll snap are two possible innovative methods to engage consumers and improve the entire user experience.

Despite the fact that these enhancements go a long way toward improving user engagement, there are still a few web design limitations. Yes, there is more flexibility than previously, but it is far from ideal. While the Elementor Pro 3.5 version offers a faster and more efficient approach to modify the overall look of your shop, each page modification can be time-consuming.

In conclusion, this update has a lot of promise and demonstrates that Elementor is paying attention to consumer input. Still, with competitors like as Gutenberg expanding their powers, it's unclear which platform will triumph. But, ideally, this is only the beginning of Elementor's improved functionality.
